Though she trained as a clinical nurse, she began her career as a sales representative for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and then went on to work in sales and business development as a clinical device specialist for Medtronic.
Andrea then went to St. Jude Medical/Abbott where she worked for 10 years guiding their sales, business development, product launches, and program development/management, all within the cardiac implantable market.
She lives in Washington D.C., with her family.
Most recently, she was Human Resources Director at Hayman Woodward Corp, a multi-million dollar holding group of companies where she established an HR and payroll department with comprehensive HR functions from the ground up. Prior to her work at Hayman Woodward, Rahel spent two years at Interfood Inc. and five years at TissueTech Inc. as Human Resources Manager, where she led the transition from a Professional Employer Organization provider to an in-house centralized HR Department and established a formal HR function designed to sustain the company’s headcount growth of 30% to 50% each year.
She is a Society of Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Queen’s College.
Rahel is trilingual, fluent in English, French, and Amharic. Outside of her work at Rhythm Management Group, she is a proud mother of two and an avid Crossfitter and tennis player.
Rafael began his career in General Electric and served in Life Sciences and HQ roles in various countries, all with a strong focus on x-ray devices. He then left the corporate world to head a family office based in Istanbul, Turkey, overseeing investments in various sectors. His most recent role was EVP of finance at AMC Health in New York City.
After AMC Health, Rafael took a break with his family and lived aboard a sailing catamaran between the Balearic and Italian islands of the Mediterranean Sea.
Rafael has a master’s degree with a major in corporate finance from the ESSCA School of Management in France.
He lives in the DC metro area with his wife and two children.
After 18 years of leading a family medicine practice, Jim joined Rhythm to lead our RhythmSynergy Remote Physiologic Monitoring (RPM) program. He has special interest and expertise in cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and obstetrics.
Jim earned his M.D. from Northeast Ohio Medical University and completed his residency at the Barberton Citizens Hospital, where he acted as Chief Resident in his final year. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and licensed to practice medicine in Ohio, New York, and Maryland.
Thompson started his marketing career in the “dot com” industry in Seattle, WA. After graduate school he joined Guidant Corp in Minnesota and embarked on a 15 year career in cardiac rhythm management in which he held a variety of leadership roles in marketing, sales operations, and sales. He left the device industry to join Rhythm in the fall of 2020.
Along with an incredible team, he is responsible for continuing to strengthen the Rhythm brand, expand markets, and build meaningful evidence in partnership with the medical community.
David started his career at Merck in 1989 as a pharmaceutical sales representative. He was quickly promoted to positions of increased responsibility and scope, including roles in training, sales management, marketing, and managed care. David’s national account experience from Merck provided him with an in-depth knowledge of Integrated Hospital Systems and Managed Care Organizations. In addition, he spent time at Medtronic and St. Jude.
David graduated from Barton College with a BS in Biology/Chemistry with a concentration in Cell Biology and Anatomy.
David resides in North Carolina with his wife Jeanette and three daughters
Her career has been focused on developing and implementing effective strategies for remote monitoring that improve efficiencies, optimize performance, and enhance patient outcomes. In her current role at Rhythm Management Group, she leads a team of over 70 highly dedicated clinical professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality care for all our patients.
Annie lives in Columbus Ohio, and is a proud Mom of 3 boys.
Prior to joining Rhythm, she spent 15 years in various product leadership roles specializing in product management optimization processes, cloud-based data analytics, EMRs, revenue cycle management, health information exchange, and building and scaling product teams. Lula is passionate about improving the consumer experience within healthcare and helping providers thrive as businesses while delivering the highest quality of care.
Lula holds a Master’s in Business Administration in Healthcare Executive Management from Holy Family University and an undergraduate degree in Health Information Management from Temple University. She is also a Certified Product Manager.
As the Director of Logistics and Operations, her duties include, but are not limited to, corporate services such as HR recruiting, logistics, and operations. Rhythm recognized her for her extraordinary commitment to excellence. She is also highly respected as a consistent and reliable leader who makes time for anyone that needs help. Ms. Bui attended West Chester University in Pennsylvania for her undergraduate studies.
He brings 20+ years of experience building customer centric products, SaaS platforms, and applied data analytics, that enable organizations to unlock their full potential. This includes enterprise scale products across Healthcare, Education, Government with millions of users benefiting from the solutions.
Annu is passionate about leveraging technology to enable health care providers to deliver highest quality patient care to their patients to successfully grow as a business.
Annu developed a love for math, science and computer programming since middle school and currently likes to volunteer to help K-12 students to pursue similar passions.
He has bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering, as well as various professional certifications.
