Rhonda Bray

As Rhythm’s Founder and CEO, Rhonda shapes and leads the strategy and vision for the organization. She brings decades of clinical, device management, and remote monitoring expertise to her role.

She began her career as a registered nurse and got her first exposure to the power of implanted cardiac devices while working in the post open-heart surgical ICU at the Cleveland Clinic. Rhonda was so intrigued by the possibilities of these devices, she became a clinical cardiac device specialist and worked at Medtronic for six years.

Rhonda then returned to the clinical setting, working as the director of the Pacemaker Clinic at Washington Hospital Center. While there, she also pursued an MBA at Johns Hopkins, earning a diploma in 2008 from the Business of Medicine graduate program.

Rhonda lives in Washington D.C., with her two incredible children.


Chris Fridley

With a wealth of knowledge and more than two decades of experience in technology, service, business development, and strategy, Chris ensures Rhythm is continually at the forefront of providing outstanding remote management solutions to practices and health systems.

Previously, he served as the chief operating officer at Ntiva, a managed IT and professional services organization. He also served as vice president of network operations at Ricoh USA, a global leader in managed IT services.


Raparti Swayambhu

Raparti leads Rhythm’s software development and data science teams to develop and deliver high-traffic, large-scale technology platforms that enable remote patient monitoring, integrations, interoperability, and data insights.

Raparti brings more than two decades of software development experience to Rhythm, including over 14 years of building healthcare technology platforms designed to automate clinical workflows and democratize data. He has overseen products in all stages of the development continuum, from early stages through commercialization and built platforms that leverage a variety of techniques to collect and organize information from EMRs, patient portals, and lab workflows.

Before joining Rhythm, Raparti held several software technical lead and senior engineering leadership roles at Ontera, Sema4, Equinix, eProcrates, Cryptography, and Genentech.

Raparti has a Master of Science in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.


Andrea Clark

With a wealth of knowledge and experience, Andrea leads all sales efforts for Rhythm and she also oversees strategic planning and program development both for Rhythm and our customers.

Though she trained as a clinical nurse, she began her career as a sales representative for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and then went on to work in sales and business development as a clinical device specialist for Medtronic.

Andrea then went to St. Jude Medical/Abbott where she worked for 10 years guiding their sales, business development, product launches, and program development/management, all within the cardiac implantable market.

She lives in Washington D.C., with her family.


Candice Gary

With extensive experience and a broad skill set spanning strategy development, performance management, project leadership, change management and business development in diverse settings, Candice leads all account management efforts for Rhythm.

She has the unique ability to bring transparency to complex issues, define strategy to develop effective solutions, and guide successful tactical execution for Rhythm and our customers.

After earning her MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, Candice began her healthcare career in the cardiac rhythm management division of Guidant/Boston Scientific, where she developed innovative physician programs that helped to cultivate strong relationships and expand the referral network for heart failure therapy.

Candice went on to work at MedStar Health and then joined The Advisory Board Company/Optum for 12 years with elevating roles that expanded her passion and strength in ensuring health system clients garnered maximum value from their services. She went on to lead the operations for the mid-Atlantic market for NorthStar Anesthesia.

Candice lives in McLean, Virginia with her two children.


Thompson Godfrey

Thompson is responsible for setting the strategic direction for Rhythm's product roadmap and is passionate about engaging with thought leaders, building a talented team, and building the Rhythm brand.

Before joining Rhythm, Thompson built and led teams through major strategic projects spanning all aspects of the commercialization process. He’s worked extensively in the start-up space and helped take companies from zero to acquisition and IPO.


Jim Brown, MD

Medical Director-RPM

After 18 years of leading a family medicine practice, Jim joined Rhythm to lead our RhythmSynergy Remote Physiologic Monitoring (RPM) program. He has special interest and expertise in cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and obstetrics.

Jim earned his M.D. from Northeast Ohio Medical University and completed his residency at the Barberton Citizens Hospital, where he acted as Chief Resident in his final year. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and licensed to practice medicine in Ohio, New York, and Maryland.


Lisa Cafferata

With thirty years’ experience spanning both the clinical and business side of the healthcare industry, Lisa manages Rhythm’s nationwide clinician team. Lisa has a special focus in cardiac medicine and provides a unique ability and direction to facilitate successful, patient-forward interactions on behalf of Rhythm.

Lisa began her career as a registered nurse in critical care and cardiac cath labs; she was also a flight nurse for a time early in her career.

After years of working in the cardiac healthcare space, Lisa made a bold transition to begin working in sales at Boston Scientific. During her tenure there, she launched LATITUDE nationally, was recognized for her work launching SICD, and was considered a national expert in new technologies associated with SICD therapy.

Lisa has her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Iowa. She is a mother of three and currently resides in Denver.


Rafael Tarantini

A leader with a cross-functional and international background, Rafael joined Rhythm in 2021 after 12 years of executive roles in various healthcare sectors.

Rafael began his career in General Electric and served in Life Sciences and HQ roles in various countries, all with a strong focus on x-ray devices. He then left the corporate world to head a family office based in Istanbul, Turkey, overseeing investments in various sectors. His most recent role was EVP of finance at AMC Health in New York City.

After AMC Health, Rafael took a break with his family and lived aboard a sailing catamaran between the Balearic and Italian islands of the Mediterranean Sea.

Rafael has a master’s degree with a major in corporate finance from the ESSCA School of Management in France.

He lives in the DC metro area with his wife and two children.


Johanna Georgilas

Johanna began her career as a registered nurse at Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital, and subsequently worked as a travel nurse in children’s hospitals across the country, including Brackenridge and Santa Rosa in Texas, Duke University, Los Angeles Children's Hospital and Boston Children's Hospital.

Johanna joined MEDITECH as a development analyst for their patient care system and then transitioned to create an implementation team dedicated to the physician-facing functionality of an EMR, including CPOE and eRx.

After leaving MEDITECH, Johanna joined Philips Telehealth Solutions as a senior manager tasked with further developing all aspects of their telehealth offering including account management, training, program development, and implementation. She then joined Athena Health to lead their clinical quality management services. While at athenahealth, Johanna obtained an MBA in Healthcare from Simmons University.

Her most recent position prior to joining Rhythm was serving as the Chief Clinical Officer and EVP at AMC health, where she was responsible for commercial and VA customer service, implementation, clinical quality, training, and the delivery of clinical services.

Johanna lives outside of Boston with her significant other and two children.
