Privacy Policy

Effective as of June 12, 2026

Rhythm Management Group (“we,” “our,” “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our services, including remote monitoring of implanted cardiac devices, and when you communicate with us via our website, email, SMS, or other channels.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Personal Identifiers: Name, address, date of birth, phone number, email address.
  • Health Information: Medical history, device data, physician information, and other health-related data required for remote monitoring.
  • Communication Data: Information you provide when communicating with us via email, SMS, or other channels.
  • Technical & Usage Information: IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring URLs, and similar information collected automatically through cookies and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) when you visit our website. We collect this only as permitted by your cookie consent choices.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide remote monitoring and management of implanted cardiac devices.
  • Communicate with you and your healthcare providers regarding your care.
  • Send necessary service updates and alerts via secure email and SMS, consistent with applicable laws (e.g., HIPAA, TCPA, CAN-SPAM).
  • Improve our services, technology, and patient support systems.
  • Comply with regulatory, legal, and contractual obligations.

3. Communication via Email and SMS

By providing your email or phone number, you consent to receive communications related to your care and our services. We will only send messages that are relevant to your healthcare or necessary service updates. Marketing communications will require separate consent, and you may opt out at any time. Message and data rates may apply for SMS.

4. How We Share Information

We may share your information with healthcare providers involved in your care, business associates who support our services (subject to HIPAA-compliant agreements), regulatory authorities as required by law, and service providers (“processors”) who perform functions on our behalf. These service providers include, for example, our website host (AWS), content management (Sanity), website analytics (Google Analytics), marketing and CRM (HubSpot), and communications and voice/SMS services (including the providers that power our optional AI demo call). These providers are permitted to use your information only to perform services for us.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising (as those terms are defined under California law). We do not use third-party advertising cookies on this site.

5. Data Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption and secure access protocols. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access and receive a copy of your health and personal information, request corrections or updates, restrict or object to certain uses, and withdraw consent for marketing communications. Requests can be made by contacting us using the information below.

7. Cookies, Analytics & Your Consent

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. We group them as: essential cookies, which are necessary for the site to function and are always on; and analytics cookies, which help us understand how visitors use the site (for example, via Google Analytics) so we can improve it.

Analytics and other non-essential cookies are off by default. When you first visit, we show a consent banner and do not set or read non-essential cookies, or send analytics data, unless you select “Accept.” We use Google Consent Mode so that no analytics storage occurs until you opt in, and IP addresses are anonymized. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie Preferences” or “Your Privacy Choices” link in the website footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser.

8. Your Privacy Choices (California Residents)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used and disclosed, to request access to or deletion of your personal information, to correct inaccurate information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we do not engage in such sales or sharing, there is nothing to opt out of in that respect; however, you can still manage analytics cookies at any time via the “Your Privacy Choices” link in our footer. To exercise any California privacy right, contact us using the details below; we will verify and respond as required by law. You may also use an authorized agent to submit a request.

9. EEA, UK & Canada Privacy Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Canada, additional rights and protections may apply under the GDPR, UK GDPR, PIPEDA, and Québec’s Law 25. Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Where we rely on consent (for example, for analytics cookies), you may withdraw it without affecting prior lawful processing. Our legal bases for processing include your consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating and improving our services. To exercise these rights, contact us below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

10. Retention of Information

We retain your personal and health information for as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal requirements, and support our business operations.

11. Children’s Privacy

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 without appropriate parental or guardian consent.

12. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective Date” at the top indicates when this Policy was last revised.
