Candice Gary

Vice President of Client Success


As the Vice President of Client Success, Candice leads all account management efforts for Rhythm Management Group. With extensive experience and broad skills set spanning strategy development, performance management, project leadership, change management and business development in diverse settings, Candice provides the ability and direction to bring transparency to complex issues, define strategy to develop effective solutions and guide successful tactical execution for Rhythm and their customers.

Candice began her healthcare career in the cardiac rhythm management division of Guidant/Boston Scientific. Following her experience in the MBA rotational program as a field clinical representative and area business manager, she served as a market development account manager where she successfully developed innovative physician programs that helped to cultivate strong relationships and expand the referral network for heart failure therapy. 

After working for Boston Scientific, Candice transitioned to MedStar Health and later to The Advisory Board Company/Optum for twelve years with elevating roles that expanded her passion and strength in ensuring health system clients garnered maximum value from their services.  She defined and oversaw execution of the renewal strategy, and ensured strong, positive relationships with clients by working with them to discern their needs and educating internal constituencies on those expectations and risks.  

Prior to joining Rhythm, Candice led the operations for the mid-Atlantic market for NorthStar Anesthesia which entailed accountability for the financial performance of their hospital/system clients through developing and improving systems to monitor and optimize anesthesia operations including costing, scheduling and quality control. 

Candice has her Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University and a MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. She resides in McLean, Virginia with her two children.
